First Baptist Church was founded by a group of young settlers wishing to begin a place where the Word of God would be taught and our Creator worshipped. They also desired the church to become a soul saving station to those moving westward.
The church continues that tradition today. Holding Sunday morning worship services and mid-week Bible studies, First Baptist Church of Oakland is committed to the truth God’s Word and the worship of it’s author of its Author. Wednesday Night Bible Studies: Women’s at 6:30 p.m. and Men’s Bible Study at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 10:45 a.m. with Sunday School for all ages preceding at 9:30 a.m.
